WASHING

- All Bandoleiro pieces are handcrafted using delicate materials, special finishes, and sustainable processes. To preserve the texture, structure, and durability of each garment, we recommend hand washing with cold or lukewarm water and mild soap whenever possible. If using a washing machine, always select a delicate cycle, low friction settings, and turn garments inside out. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or strong fabric softeners, as they may damage colors, prints, sequins, fabrics, and coated finishes.

DRYING

- Natural air drying is always recommended, either laid flat or hung carefully to avoid distorting the garment’s shape. We do not recommend tumble drying, as excessive heat may damage natural fibers, elastic trims, special textures, and coated or glossy materials. Garments should preferably dry in the shade to preserve color intensity, elasticity, and handcrafted finishes. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

IRONING

- To maintain the integrity of fabrics and finishes, use a low to medium heat setting and iron garments inside out whenever possible. For pieces featuring sequins, mesh textures, coated finishes, or delicate details, we recommend placing a protective cloth between the iron and the fabric, or using light steam instead. Never apply direct heat onto prints, embroidery, or sensitive synthetic materials.

GENERAL CARE

- Store garments in cool, dry, and well-ventilated spaces. Structured pieces, jackets, or garments with shoulder padding should preferably be kept on hangers to preserve their original shape. Avoid folding delicate fabrics or coated garments for long periods of time. Due to Bandoleiro’s handcrafted and sustainable nature, slight variations, textures, and marks are part of each piece’s unique identity and should be treated with care and attention.
